hey all,
I had a Motorola phone a couple years ago, and I'm thinking about going from the iPhone
to a galaxy S6. Do any of you guys have any tips on how to operate a galaxy phone? I
know about eyes free and inclusive android, so I have a couple of resources, but any
advice from you guys would be helpful. Thanks,
L
honestly the eyes-free list which is now being scanned for off topic discussions is your best bet. I and a few others here are full time users or have been with the platform sense its earlier days. If I were you, I would not get a galaxy s6, 3 glaring reasons follow. 1. The galaxy s6 is reaching its two year update cycle, 2. your updates will be slow do to the aging device, 3. no micro SD card slot, one fraze "Samsung" micro SD card slot or no go if I were you. Lastly, try to get a galaxy S7, google's pixel which can be had on Verizon wireless so your not paying the cost up front. Get your hands on 2015 nexus devices "5x and 6P" both will run on a NVOS carrier with no issues. If you want to know what does the pixel and pixel XL have over 2015's nexus devices! Well The pixal phones come with google's new Assistant first showing up in an app called allo. Like serie you can ask it questions and receive answers and more. Again, I would for go the galaxy S6 in a heart beat unless your ready to learn how to root and rom your device in the near future.
oh, last advice here, do not ever, ever let a person talk you into a 16 GB galaxy Device if you so choose to go Samsung, after updates and security patches your left with ver little room to store your info.
